How It All Started

The idea for Dry Eye Mask came about when my wife was diagnosed with dry eye syndrome (Meibomian Gland Dysfunction) in 2015. Our doctor recommended using Lipiflow, a revolutionary device that uses heated pulsations of air and oil to clear blocked meibomian glands, but we were dismayed when we discovered how expensive it was.

At first, we were highly skeptical of the microwave eye mask but ended up buying it anyway. Lo and behold, we found ourselves running up and down the stairs having to reheat it every 3 minutes. On our second visit to the doctor, we asked how he expected us to keep up with this routine, and he said, "You'll just have to live with it".

That was the moment we knew we had to make it happen. We set out to create a device that would maintain the heat for longer periods, making it much more convenient for dry eye sufferers. After months of extensive research and development, Dry Eye Therapy Mask was born - an electric heated dry eye mask designed to be comfortable and provide immediate relief.
